If
you look at the picture to
the left, you will notice
two keyouts (dark rectangles)
in the center of the lock,
one pointing to the left,
and one pointing up. The one
pointing up is the fully locked
position which is where you
can take the key out of the
lock and both cables will
be locked and the Bolt Lock
itself will be locked to the
washer.
If
you insert the key in the
fully locked position then
turn the key clockwise (CW)
90 deg. The slot on the right
is open. Another 90 deg. CW
opens the Bolt Lock so you
can slide it over the washer.
Another 80 deg. CW opens the
left slot. The final 90 deg.
CW you are back to the fully
locked position.
Note
that the "L" shaped
ends in the picture to the
left are shown on the outside
of the lock to show how the
ends should be pointing in
the fully locked position. |
